Back to the Globe for 'Twelfth Night'
I missed Wordless Wednesday this week. I was very pleasantly occupied by attending the matinee performance of Twelfth Night at the Globe Theatre in London.
We are always huge fans of the Globe, but this production may be my favourite. Starring national treasure, Stephen Fry, as Malvolio and the ever brilliant Mark Rylance as Olivia, the afternoon passed in a blink of an eye. The reviews for Twelfth Night have been glowing and the reaction of the audience confirms the critic's opinion. I can't remember ever laughing so much at a Shakespeare play! One picture is worth a thousand words, not a quote from Shakespeare, so I'll leave these photos to speak for themselves.

Do you recognise the fellow in the ruff? Roger Lloyd-Pack, known for his work in TV comedies, is an accomplished Shakespearean actor and great dancer!
Feste, the wise fool, was the Renaissance man playing period instruments, singing and dancing with great dexterity.
