Almost Wordless Wednesday - Day Glo Orange

The afternoon light of an autumn day always looks golden and beautiful, but this afternoon was strange.  We were just about to get some rain and the combination of heavy cloud and oblique light turned the leaves of this shrub a bright 'Day Glo' orange.  

Just in time for Almost Wordless Wednesday...

This colour is why every garden should have at least one Smoke Bush...
